There are several beautiful golf courses in Uganda for golf enthusiasts. Many of the courses were built during the colonial days and all are located within short distances of the major hotels and lodges. Consequently, there are plenty of opportunities to combine golfing excursions with safari outings.

Uganda offers ideal weather conditions for golfing that range from warm lowland areas and lakeshores to cool highlands. The year-round temperature ranges between 21c and 25c. The rainy seasons, which are light, are mainly between March and May, then October and November.
